Academic Upgrading and Career Entrance Program (ACE)
Goal of the Program
Academic Upgrading and Career Entrance Program (ACE) is a Grade 12 equivalent college program. It prepares you for admission to a college post-secondary program or apprenticeship. The ACE program is recognized as a Grade 12 equivalent by colleges and apprenticeship programs for purposes of admission to post secondary programming and is also recognized by many employers across Ontario.
This program is for those who are looking for post secondary education. It serves adults who do not have a high school diploma, and is a free full-time program for students who need to improve their reading, writing, math, computer and study skills.
- Mathematics (Core, Apprenticeship, Business and/or Technology)
- Science (Biology, Chemistry and/or Physics)
- Self Management/ Self Direction
- Computer Studies (equivalent to Computer Applications I, which is an admission requirement for most post-secondary programs)
